摘 要:研究了微波辐照下苯乙烯单体的超浓乳液聚合,结果表明,采用十二烷基硫酸钠和OP-10的混合乳化剂能制备稳定的超浓乳液。微波辐照可以加快超浓乳液聚合,50℃采用常规水浴和微波辐照加热3h,苯乙烯单体的转化率分别为30%和60%。用大功率微波辐照可以实现超浓乳液快速聚合,480W微波辐照在5min内能使苯乙烯单体转化率达到64%。微波辐照合成的粒子粒径显著小于常规热聚合。微波对引发剂AIBN的分解无促进作用,但能被富含乳化剂的水相连续相强烈吸收,微波能在界面上集中可能是微波加速超浓乳液聚合的原因。Lauryl sodium sulfate (SDS) and polyoxyethylene (10) octylphenyl ether (OP-10) were used as mixed emulsifiers to obtain stable concentrated emulsion system. The polymerization was conducted using convection heating and microwave irradiation. The results show that the polymerization can be assisted by microwave. For a 3 h reaction at 50 ℃, the conversion of styrene is about 30% for heat polymerization and 60% for a 50 W microwave irradiation. The conversion of styrene can achieve 64% in 5 min during a 480 W microwave irradiation. A careful examination shows that microwave has no effect on initiator AIBN. The energy concentration on the interface of water/oil may cause the speed-up of styrene polymerization.
