摘　　要：本文论述了图书馆藏书建设对图书馆发挥其功能的影响。提出了株洲工学院图书馆应紧扣包装特色,全面、系统、合理地拟定好藏书体系,加强纸质文献与电子图书的收集、管理,扩大信息资源,提高服务质量的构想。Book Collection of a library contributes much to a library' s function . To improve the library book collection of this institrte,it is necessary to make an over all plan for a well-organized book collection system, which characteristic of packaging lays great stress on collecting and administrating various dinds of literature including electronic books,on increasing the resources of information and on improving library services.
