摘　　要：１９７１年，Ｆ．Ａ．Ｃｏｔｔｏｎ提出，对Ｄｎｈ对称群分子的ＳＡＬＣ分子轨道，可通过Ｄｎｈ群的子群Ｃｎ用投影算符近似求得．本文证明了Ｃｏｔｔｏｎ的这一假设实际上是精确的，并指出该假设在对称分析理论中有进一步推广价值．In 1971, F. A. Cotton claimed that SALC molecular orbit of Dnh group symmetry molecule, can be approximately calculated with projection operator of subgroup Cn, without the projection operator of molecular point group Dnh. It is proved that this assumption actually is an exact one, and it can be spread in symmetry analysis theory.
