摘  要:实验和数值研究玻璃熔体的自然对流祁建伟,胡桅林,过增元(清华大学工程力学系100084)ExperimentalandNumericalInvestigationofNaturalconvectionPatternsinGlassMelts¥QiJi...Natural convection in a rectangular two dimensional enclosure representative of the longitudinal section of a 1:20 scale glycerine laboratory model of an industrial glass melting furnace has been caloulated using SIMPLEC method.The computational method was tested by comparison with measurements of the temperatures and velocities under two kinds of thermal boundary conditins.Good agreement was obtained between measurements and computations.However,the effects of the sidewall heat losses would cause three dimensional effects which had a major influence on the longitudinal flow and heat transfer.
