摘　　要：“成油体系”分析是在盆地分析基础上，进一步研究含油气盆地中油气的生、储、盖、运、聚、保的时空配置关系及其演化规律，将它们作为一个统一的整体而不是孤立地进行单项研究。一个成油体系包括正在生油的生油洼陷，所有与其有关的油气聚集或显示，以及形成油气聚集所必需的地质要素及作用过程。本文系统地介绍了“成油体系”这一概念的形成过程、定义、特征、级别及其分类方法，并以实例说明其在油气勘探中的应用。Petroleum System has now been widely discussed among petroleum geologists.The term,“petroleum System”,has different definitions or interpretations by many geolo-gists. Magoon(1987)first identifies a petroleum system which emphasizes the genetic re-lationship between a pod of active source rock and the resulting petroleum accumulation.Researchers engaged in basin analysis emphasize structural depressions and the includedsedimentary rocks regardless of the relations to any petroleum deposits.Apetroleum sys-tem is an organized set of geologic elements and events,which must be placed in time andin space so that petroleum deposits occur.The geologic elements include source rocks,reservoir rocks,seals,traps,etc.And the geological events refer to the processes of trapformation.hydrocarbon generation,migration,accumulation and preservation.In this in-troduction paper,the author has given a brief account about the study history,definition.classification and characteristics of this concept.To illustrate its application in oil and gasexploration,an example of Tthomls-SzoInok(·)petroleum system is described.
