The Effects of Extract of Mulberry Leaves(Morus alba L.)on Scavenging the Oxygen Free Radicals in Vitro and on the Life Span of Drosophila melanogaster

摘  要:本文作者应用化学发光法研究了桑叶提取液对体外氧自由基发生系统:黄嘌呤-黄嘌呤氧化酶体系产生的超氧阴离子,Fenton体系产生的羟自由基和用过硫酸铵-N,N',N'-四甲基乙二胺体系产生的氧自由基的清除作用。同时研究了高浓度桑叶提取液对果蝇寿命的影响。结果表明,桑叶提取液对上述系统产生的氧自由基中的羟自由基具有相当强的清除作用。在剂量比中医大辞典规定的大3倍以上时并不降低雌雄果蝇的平均寿命,且对雌雄呆蝇的最高寿命均有一定程度的提高。In this paper,the effects of medicinal mulberry leaves extract on scavenging the oxygen free radicals in Vitro were tested with the chemilumirescence(CL) by using the Xanthine/Xanthine Oxydase system to produce the superoxides,Fenton system to produce the hydroxyl free radicals(·OH) and AP-TEMED system to produce the oxygen free radicals. And its effects on the life span of Drosophila melanogaster were also studied. The result-s showed that the extract of mulberry leaves was an effective scanvenger of hydroxyl free radicals which were produced by the systems mentioned above. When its concentration was 1% which was three times higher than the dosage precribed in Chinese Medicine Dictionary, the extract of mulberry leaves was an effective scanvenger of hydroxyl free radicals which was three times higher than the dosage precribed in Chine se Medicine Dictionary, the extract of mulberry leaves had no significant effects on the mean life span but increased the maximum life span in both male and female fruitflies to some extent.
