摘　　要：塔里木河中游十种水鸟的繁殖调查马鸣，巴吐尔汗，戴昆（中国科学院新疆生物土壤沙漠研究所，乌鲁木齐，８３００１１）新疆南部的塔里木河流域，通常被认为是水禽迁徙的驿站。钱燕文等（１９６５）曾对该地区鸟类做过一些研究，但涉及水禽繁殖的资料甚少。１９８９年４－...During breeding season, from April to June in 1989 .and from March to July in 1990, the authors observed and studied the breeding habits of 10 species of waterbirds (Black-necked Grebe, Great grested Grebe, Graylay Goose, Mallard, Red-crested Pochard, Moorhen, Coot, Black - winged Stilt, Black - headed Gull, Common Tern ) in Tarim River, the South of Xinjiang. (See table one) According to the observation, in Tarim Basin, the breeding season of waterfowl begins more than half a month earlier than it does in Qinghai, Inner Mongolia and Jinn Provinces. Because of the different habitat, the nesting sites are different from other places. In arid zone, undue agriculture irrigation and animal husbandry have been seriously imperiling waterfowl life and wetland more and more.
