Because there is not necessary to make derivative operations of arithmetic, this method is especially suitable for optimization technique of com pressors and other turbomachines, for which many complex formula describing internal flow loss model are needed and the derivative operations for them are very difficulty. With this method in substitution of the old search technique, the total number of optimum variables can be extended from general three to seven or even more. A fortran program 'PARAOPT'using complex method have been performed and used in industrial projects.
