摘 要:应用Judd-Ofelt理论模型和实验测定,研究了几种掺钕氟化物玻璃的光谱和荧光性质及其与玻璃化学组成的关系。结果表明,钕离子在氟锆酸盐玻璃中的发光性质要优于它在氟铝酸盐玻璃和氟磷酸盐玻璃中的发光性质,并随氟锆酸盐玻璃中氟逐步被氯所取代得到进一步的改善。应用连续浇注法制得了相应玻璃包皮的氟酸盐玻璃光纤预制棒,并拉制出芯径为9μm掺钕氟酸盐玻璃光纤。该光纤在波长为514nm的氢激光或彼长为800nm的钛宝石激光的光泵下。相继在1.05和1.34μm获得了连续激光输出,室温下1.05μm激光的输出功率已达11mW,斜率超过20%。In this paper the spectroscopic andfluorescence properties of several Nd ̄(3+)-dopedfluoride glass were studied by experimentalmeasurement and calculation using Judd-Ofelttheoretical model.It was shown that the fluorescenceproperties of Nd ̄(3+) ions in the fluorozirconate glasswere better than those in the fluoroaluminate glassand the fluorophosphate glass,and were furtherimproved by the substitution of NaCl for NaF in theZBLAN glass.The Nd ̄(3+)-doped fluoride glass fiberwith a core diameter of 9μm was prepared and somelaser properties of the fiber were measured using asimple Fabry-perot cavity by pumping of 514 nm Arlaser or 800 nm Ti: sapphire laser. CW laser at 1.05and 1.34 μm was observed.For 1.05μm laser, theoutput power of 11 mW and a slope efficiency of 20%at room temperature were obtained.
