摘　　要：本文在分析二值分块编码分块效应的基础上,提出了一种新的多值分块编码方法。理论分析与实验结果均表明该方法使编码图象的分块失真减小到几乎不能察觉,输出码率降低到1.36比特/象素左右,而且文中提出的分类算法十分简便。Based on the analysis of blocking effect caused by. Twovalues blockcoding, this paper presents a coding method-multivalues block coding of images whichhas much better performance than twovalues block coding. The results of the experiments indicate that with this method, the blocking effect can be efficiently reduced, and the data rate obtained is 1.36 bits /pel. The algorithm for classification given in this paper is very simple.
