摘　　要：工程领域需要工程数据库的支持,而工程数据库应采用面向对象的方法实现,这已成为共。目前世界上出现了许多面向对象工程数据库管理系统(OOEDBMS)。OOEDBMS is a hot point in the field of DBMS. It is a huge and hard project to implement an OOEDBMS. Some key selections will decide the function and future evolution of the OOEDBMS. In this paper,we introduce two existing OOEDBMS and their main features. Then we present our strategy in OSCAR:an OOEDBMS which is developed by ourselves.
