摘　　要：PRISMA/DB是一并行的主存关系数据库管理系统。其设计思想主要有两个:第一,将整个数据库存入主存从而获得高性能;第二,系统使用一种面向对象的程序设计语言以模块方式实现,使得这种灵活的组织结构适应于功能和性能方、面的分析和试验。目前其原型系统已实现,运行在一个具有100个结点的多处理机上。本文将对其设计和实现细节作一初步介绍。PRISMA/DB is a parallel main memory relational data base management system. The principal design ideas are as follows: first, storing the data base wholly in main memory to get high performance. Second, it is implemented modularly in an object-oriented programming language, so the flexible architecture can be used for the analysis and experiment of functionality and performance. Now, the prototype is implemented on a multiprocessor computer with one hundred nodes. The design and implementation details are discussed in this paper.
