摘　　要：阐述了我国开展林业碳汇工作的国内外背景与开展林业碳汇监测评估的重要性,针对未来我国承担减排义务所面临的形势与机遇,分析了我国实施碳汇项目的潜力及评估的基础,提出了林业碳汇监测评估的途径。Aiming at the situation and opportunity that our country is facing in taking on the obligation of reducing carbon dioxide releasing, this paper expounded on the background of developing forestry carbon sink work in China and the world and the importance of doing monitoring and evaluation on forestry carbon sinks. It concluded that the carbon sinks can be increased and the space of carbon dioxide releasing can be expanded through forestation and carrying on “dean development mechanism”（CDM）. It suggested that the monitoring and evaluation organization of forestry carbon sinks should be established in China as soon as possible.
