摘　　要：通过对中国鸡头薯属大量标本的比较研究,作者认为种Eriosemahimalensis不能成立,应将其降为Eriosemachinensis的异名。本文还绘制了鸡头薯块根的形态变异图,作为进行分类学处理的重要依据之一。Study of morphological characters based on extensive herbarium specimens, has led to a better understanding of the Chinese Eriosema （DC.） G. Don. The previously recognized species E. himalaicum Ohashi is proposed to be reduced to the synonym of E. ch/nens/s Vog. Illustrations showing the continuous variation of the root tubers of E. chinensis are included as an evidence of this proposal.
