摘　　要：回顾了我国天然橡胶生产和科学研究的历史,分析了我国和世界天然橡胶产业发展的形势。随着各国经济的发展,世界对天然橡胶的需求量将日愈增加,我国对天然橡胶的需要将更加依赖进口。在这种形势下,我国应加强对天然橡胶生产技术的研究,在进一步开发橡胶树产胶潜力的基础上,发展橡胶木材生产,把橡胶树乳管作为生物反应器以生产贵重化合物,重视橡胶林在环境保护中的作用。中国热带农业科学院和华南热带农业大学应该进一步面向世界,在世界热带农业科学和教育的发展中起更大的作用。The paper reviews the natural rubber production and its research history as well as analyzing its development situation of our country. With the economic development of the world, the demand for natural rubber is on the rise and our country will increasingly depend on its import. Under these circumstances, research on production skill of natural rubber should be strengthened. On the basis of exploiting the yield potential of rubber trees, rubber timber production should be developed; laticifer as biological reactor should be produced as rare combination and the role of the rubber trees played in the environmental protection should be valued. CATAS and SCUTA have to open its door to the world and play a more important role in the education and development of tropical agriculture of the world.
