摘　　要：重庆是中国西部最大的工农业城市和水陆交通枢纽，是西部经济最大的“生长极”。重庆市位于中国经济发展主轴线——长江流域与西部资源富集地区的结合部，是长江上游经济中心，对加强我国东西部联系,承东启西,辐射西部具有重要战略作用。Chongqing is the biggest industrial and agricultural city in the west of China. It is an important transportation hub as well as an Economic Growth Pole in the region. It is an economic center in the area covering the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and resource-enriched western regions,Therefore, Chongqing plays a strategic role in strengthening contact between Chinese eastern and western regions.
