Selection of Rice Varieties Adapted to a Wide Range of Light Intensity

摘  要:用耐光抑制和耐荫两种方法对同一批水稻品种进行筛选鉴定,获得18个耐光抑制、5个耐荫、4个广幅光强适应品种。明确了水稻耐光抑制品种在低O2、低CO2条件下,暴以自然光5~7天,其叶绿素和类胡萝卜素含量分别保持在2.2和0.97mg·g-1FW以上,其它品种都在这个数值以下。粳稻耐光抑制能力强于籼稻。耐荫品种在1/5自然光下驯化15~20天,叶面积和叶质重及叶绿素、类胡萝卜素都增大。广幅光强适应品种皆具备上述特性。Eighteen rice varieties of photoinhibition tolerance, five varieties of shade tolerance and four varieties adapted to a wide range of hight intensity were selected from 42 Japonica and In dica varieties treated with photoinhibition stress and shading. The experiments showed that the contents of chrolophyll and carotenoid in the photoinhibition-tolerant rice retained more than 2.2 mg·g-1 and 0. 97mg·g-1 fresh weight, respectively, after an exposure to natural light for 5 7 dsys under the low O2 and CO2 condition. The contents of chrolophyll and carotenoid remained in the other varieties were lower than in the former. the tolerance of photoinhibition in Japonica rice was much higher than the Indica rice.The leaf area, leaf specific weight, chrolophyll and carotenoid of the shade-tolerant varieties increased after domesticated with 1/5 natural light for 15 to 20days.The varieties adapted to a wide range of light intensity had all the characteristics mentioned above, which mignt be used in hybrid rice breeding.
