摘  要:在英语语音教学中对超发音段往往没有给予足够的重视,或者缺乏有效的训练手段,而利用计算机软件提供的视觉反馈来进行训练是解决这一问题的有效途径.采用超发音段视觉反馈的语音训练软件比大多数采用的波形图的软件在技术上更成熟、有效.用商品化语音识别软件很容易建立起一个口语测试系统的雏形.值得注意的是,语音识别主要依赖对发音段的识别而不是超发音段.计算机辅助语音训练和口语测试具有毋庸置疑的先进性,也有局限性.The instruction of suprasegmentals is insufficiendy emphasized or difficult to implement due to lack of pertinent feedback in the training process. This issue can be effectively dealt with by means of specially designed software among which visualized suprasegmentals render the waveform feedback inefficient. A trial scoring system of spoken English based on speech recognition software can easily be set up. It must be noted that speech recognition largely depends on the segmental identification rather than suprasegmentals. The advantages and limitations of computer-assisted instruction and testing of pronunciation are, after the discussion, obvious.
