摘　　要：丝绸之路南道不论在自然旅游资源,还是在人文旅游资源方面都有其独特之处。本文通过对和田地区旅游资源和客源市场现状分析,提出围绕丝绸之路文化旅游为核心,突出以玉石故乡,大漠风光,田园绿洲,佛国古城及伊期兰教四大特色为主题,重点推出“和田玉石文化”、“尼雅寻梦”等精品,以此为龙头,带动区域旅游业发展的旅游资源开发策略。并提出“一主线,六干线”的各具特色的旅游线路。As a great artery in the history of human, the Silk Road links the cradles of the great civilizations of the world and is a significant passage for the history, religion, art and cultural exchanges between the West and the East. The silk has become a world wide focus for tourism. The South of the Silk Road, passing from Shanshan （the present Roqiang County in xiniiang）, Jinjue, Yumi, Hotan and Pishan,then forking towards the South-West of Pishan reached Kasmira area and the North-West of Pishan crossing Pamir plateau, finally reached Istanble. This article analysis the exploitations of touris resources in the South of the Silk Road in a case study on Hotan region in Xinjiang. Located in the Southern edge of Taklamakan Desert and the north foot of the Kunlun Mantians, inhabited by the people of Uygur main nationalnity and other nationalites, Hotan region has an area of 24.78 × 10^4km^2 and the total pupolation of 168.7× 10^4 at the end of 2001. Torism expoitation of the area possesses the particular regional feature. The core matter is confirmation of Silk Road Culture, lay stress on the matherland of jade, mysterious and splendid desert, idyllic oasis, Buddisha Yutian and Islam cultural. Base on the analysis tourist resources market and on-the-spot interview of tourist resources in Hotan region, the article points out that the target market of domestic and foreign tourist resources in the future. The domestic is mainly composed of tourist come from the Pearl River Delta, the Changjiang River Delta and Beijing-Tianjin-Tanshan area and the foreign market aim to Japan, Korea, Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan. The tourism resources unctions were divided into the desert scene section, the oasis scene section, the north foot of Kunlun mountain scene section and the Shenxian wanscene section. The main points of sectional development strategy of the 4 sections were discussed.
