STD/AIDS knowledge awareness among primary healthcare workers and residents in Zhabei district of Shanghai

摘　　要：目的了解流行状态下上海市基层医务人员和居民的STD／AIDS知识水平。方法采用自行设计的STD／AIDS知识调查问卷进行调查。结果70．97％的基层医务人员不知道如何治疗STD／AIDS病人；68．75％的居民认为STD／AIDS传染性极大，56．25％的居民认为与STD／AIDS的病人一起工作学习十分可怕。结论基层医务人员对于STD／AIDS知识的掌握并不全面，在居民中还存在对STD／AIDS病人的严重歧视现象。Objective To investigate the level of STD/AIDS understanding among primary healthcare workers and residents in Zhabei district. Methods A questionnaire was designed and distributed to primary healthcare workers and residents in Zhabei district. Results Among 92 primary healthcare workers responded, 〉80% correctly answered basic questions about STD/AIDS but 23.7% answered advanced questions correctly. Among 112 residents responded, 〈80% could basic STD/AIDS questions and 56.3% were reluctant to work and study with STD/AIDS patients. Conclusions In Zhabei district, the awareness level of STD/AIDS knowledge in primary healthcare workers remains improved and discrimination against STDIAIDS patients exists widely in residents.
