摘　　要：对江汉盆地下第三系２３个重武岩样品Ｋ－Ａｒ同位素年龄测定，并按不同层位进行等时线处理，表明各组样品的年龄分别为潜江组四段４１．０Ｍａ、荆沙组４５．５Ｍａ、新沟嘴组５１．２Ｍａ、沙市组６２．４Ｍａ，与所处的地层时代基本一致。据此，编制了与火山活动事件紧密相关的江汉盆地早第三纪地层地质年代表。The K-Ar isotopic ages of 23 Paleogene basalt specimens collected from Jianghan Basin were determined and isochrones were made according to different horizons.Isochron dating results are given as follows:the 4th member of Qianjiang Formation(Eq')is 41.0 Ma j Jingsha Formation(Ej),45.5 Ma;Xingouzui Formation (Ex),51.2 Ma;Shashi Formation (Es),62.4 Ma.The results are generally coincident with their stratigraphic times. Based on the results, the Paleogene geochronologic scale of the basin that is closely related to volanic activites has been made.
