摘　　要：针对西沟水电站引水隧洞长、水头高、调压室深、室内涌浪高和调压室所处山顶地势较低的自然条件，经多种设计方案比较，采用了具有阻抗、差动功能的带有上外室的溢流式调压室．它综合了不同型式单一功能调压室的优点，有效地克服了其缺点．三年的运行实践，证明其安全可靠．The surge tank, in Xigou hydropower station, connects a long run headrace tunnelwith high water head. The landscape in the surge tank area is low which is unfavourable for a conven-tional surge tank arrangement. Based on careful study and through comparison of alternatives. A newtype surge tank which has resistant and differential functions with overflowing with restriced risersurge tank was developed. The advantages of this design are as follows: (1) lowering the highest up-surge level; (2) reducing the volume of surge tank ; (3) avoiding diffculties in the construction of ahigh conventional surge tank.
