摘　　要：本文论述了电极糊的生产特点和原料选择，综述了国内外使用电极糊的矿热炉现状与发展趋势。通过对电极糊实际工作过程中的物理化学变化及温度分布分析，提出了优质电极糊应具备的五种重要特性。最后讨论了电极糊在使用过程中常见的软硬断事故的主要原因。Abstract:This paper discussed the making characteristics and raw materials of electrod paste and sumed up present situation and developmental trend of the elecric arc furaces using elecrod paste at home and abroad. On analysising physical and chemical and temperature's changes of actual applied electrod paste,the paper puted forward the high grade electrod paste must possess five important specific properties.Finally,the major causes on soft and hard break of electrod paste in working course discussed.
