摘　　要：介绍了中国物理学文献数据库(CPD)系统的建库思想和实现途径。着重阐述了CPD的组成、功能、检索途径、其标准化和规范化建设及其科学性、完整性、通用性和实用性,并简要阐明了CPD系统已取得的经济效益和社会效益。The conceptual basis and implementation of the Chinese Physics Database (CPD) system is presented. The authors describe in detail the five parts composing the CPD, a Chinese Dictionary of Attributes, the Format Imput/Output System, Retrieval Book &. Periodical Layout and Database Creation System, Chinese Thesaurus Management System and Data Processing System. The Standards established for the CPD system are shown. The System has many functions, such as data processing, retrieval and statistics, Chinese Thesaurus management and retrieval book &. periodical layout and database creation. Retrieval access is through keywords, text and subject words. The software of the system is written in C language and so is widely compatible and suitable for general use. The economic and social benefits already obtained are mentioned.
