摘　　要：清教产生于16世纪的英国,随着清教徒从17世纪20年代大规模迁往北美,清教主义扎根于北美并最终在殖民地占据主导地位,对殖民地的政治、经济、文化产生了深远影响。清教主义是铸造美国文化与价值观的重要力量,它对于美国人价值观的形成起到了重要作用。本文从几个不同价值观出发探求清教主义对美国人价值观的影响。Puritanism emerged in England in the 16th century.With the great immigration of puritans to North America from 17th century,it rooted in American and developed into a dominant force in the colonies which had profound influence on the colonies in politics,economy and culture.Puritanism plays an important role in the forging of American culture and values.This paper explores the influence of Puritanism on American values from different aspects.
