摘　　要：小波变换是一种崭新的时-频分析工具。作为一种优秀的编码算法,EZW(嵌入式零树编码)使小波分析在图像压缩中得以广泛应用。本文结合人眼的视觉特性和零树编码的特点,提出了一个改进的零树编码算法。该算法可以减小空间的相关性,提高EZW的效率。Wavelet transform is a brand new time domain-frequency domain analyzing method. As an excellent encoding algorithm, Wavelet zerotree algorithm makes wavelet transform extensive use in image compression. This paper gives an improved zerotree algorithm which takes the character of human visual system. LL band coefficients are coded with DPCM; it can reduce the relativity of the coefficient, and improve the efficiency of EZW.
