摘　　要：针对文本图像提出了一种基于小波域混合状态HMT(H idden M arkov Tree)文本图像子带分割算法.该算法在充分考虑经二维小波变换后各子带之间相关性的同时,分别对背景、文字、图片三种纹理建立了不同状态的HMT模型,并且通过计算机仿真实验说明了该算法的有效性.This paper presents an algorithm, called a document segmentation algorithm based on subbands by wavelet-domain mixture-state hidden Markov tree model, which extends a wavelet-domain HMT model that emerged recently. It is considered that there exists the correlation among three subbands in the wavelet transform and the state formation of the model for different textures should be different. The proposed algorithm allows more accurate document segmentation quality at little fluctuant computation complexity than the original algorithm does.
