摘　　要：Land-use/land-cover changes (LUCC), as a long-term international research project,is central to the interests of the science of globle environmental change. It is asignificant agent of change with influences, and is affected by, climate change, lossof biodiversity, and the sustainability of human-environment interactions. It isclearly an essential component in all considerations of sustainability. The focusareas of LUCC project are land-use dynamics, land-cover changes and regional andglobal models.
