摘　　要：首先介绍了虚拟专用网VPN的基本概念,并对MPLS技术的工作原理、优势及其安全性进行了分析。针对MPLSVPN目前存在的安全问题,提出了将MPLS和IPSec结合为VPN提供良好的网络安全保障的观点。This paper made an introduction on the basic concepts and applications of virtual private network （VPN）, and analysis on the operation principle, technical superiority and safety performance of the MPLS technologies. To counter the safety problem now existing in MPLS VPN, the author puts forward that combining the technologies of MPLS and IPSec to ensure the network security.
