摘　　要：文章回顾了百年来中国图书馆学界对图书馆价值的认定及其存在的不足,尤其对近年来学术界有关图书馆精神的讨论进行了回顾,认为这次大讨论在中国图书馆学发展进步的历史上是具里程碑意义的一次巨大飞跃,是图书馆学界一次前所未有的学术自觉和人格自觉。这次讨论必将为中国图书馆学理论的进步和中国图书馆事业的发展产生极大的积极影响。This article has reviewed the spirit and the value opinion of the Chinese library in the last century , in specially has discussed the value of the Chinese library in recent years. The article puts forward its idea to be great progress of the discussing for the value of the Chinese library , and will have a great influence on the history of the Chinese librarianship.
