摘　　要：文中通过编写程序实现对某种遥感图像的矢量量化编码,针对JPEG法和矢量量化方法在这种图像编码中的应用作大量仿真实验,在对实验结果进行分析比较的基础上得出有用的结论,为研究提供实验参考和依据。In this paper the vector quantization coding （VQ） is applied for a kind of remote sensing image. A lots of tests have also been performed about JPEG and VQ coding for the image. Based on analysing the results, some useful conclusions have been drawn to provide references for further research.
