摘　　要：西部大开发战略实施以来,西部地区经济增长问题的研究成为西部大开发中的热点问题。但总的来说讨论重点始终停留在强调西部内部改革和加大对其他国家开放的力度上,而对西部地区向国内其他地区开放尤其是进行相互间的贸易的重要性以及可能获得的经济效应却缺乏应有的重视。作者以区际贸易为分析视角,对区际贸易在西部经济增长中的作用及存在的问题进行说明,并在此基础上提出相应的对策选择。Since the execution of development strategy in West China, the study on the economic growth in the west has caused a hot debate. From a general point of view, the discussion has remained on emphasizing the internal reform of the west and increasing the degree of opening to other countries. However, we attach less importance to the opening of the west to other parts of China and to having mutual trade between them, less to say the economic profit that they might get. The paper, fi＇om an inter-regional trade angle, illustrates the function of inter-regional trade in economic growth in the west and the existing problems, and then on the basis provides the corresponding policy options.
