摘　　要：信息焦点是信息表达和传递中说话人想要重点强调的信息,在不同的语言中信息焦点的强调和表达方式有所不同。为此,本文对英语和汉语的信息焦点的表达特征进行了分类探讨,并在此基础上就其如何在翻译中有效地保留和转移信息焦点提出了自己的见解和方式,希望在具体的翻译实践中有一定的指导作用。Focus of information refers to those on which an utterer wants to put emphasis in the process of information express and communication. Because of the cuhural differences, ways of information express vary from country to country. So this paper aims to discuss the different features in expressing of information focus, on the basis of which this paper goes timber to discuss how to effectively retain and transmit focus of information in translation process. At last, this paper hopes that it will be helpful in the later translation practice.
