摘　　要：邓小平的体育实践与理论是他体育思想的重要组成部分。它不仅包括邓小平个人体育实践的经验总结、申奥情结,更包括如群众体育应与竞技体育协调发展、体育是精神文明建设的重要方面、体育与政治的辩证相关等精辟的理论。研究及推广邓小平的体育实践与理论,对于指导和促进我国社会主义体育运动的改革和发展具有极其重要的理论意义和现实意义。Deng Xiaoping＇s sports practice and theory is an important aspect of his sports thoughts. It includes not only the summary of his own sports practice experience and Olympic bid complex, but also the profound theories such as “the development of mass sports activities should coordinate with that of the athletic sports”, “physical culture should be an important part of building spiritual civilization”, “the dialectical relationship between sports and politics”, etc. The research and the spreading of Deng Xiaoping＇ s sports practice and theory is extremely important both in theory and practice for guiding and promoting the reformation and development of socialist physical exercises of our country.
