摘　　要：历史上的两淮盐商所操盐业曾在扬州经济中占据举足轻重的地位。以盐业为中心的盐商经济拉动了其他众多经济行业的发展。两淮盐商对扬州城市发展及名都结构布局与地位、性质的最终奠定作用非凡。它对扬州经济生活等领域的远期影响也不容忽视。Historically, salt industry operated by salt merchants in Huainan and Huaibei areas played an important role in Yangzhou. The economy of salt merchants centering around salt promoted the development of many other economic industries. The role of salt merchants in Huainan and Huaibei areas was extraordinary in finalizing the urban development of Yangzhou as well as the structure, layout, position and nature of Yangzhou as a famous metropolis, Its long-term influence on the economic life and other fields of of Yangzhou cannot be overlooked.
