摘　　要：运用主成分方法对河南省2002年18个地市的经济发展状况进行综合评价和排序。通过因子分析中的方差极大旋转,解释了主成分的经济含义,并对主成分分析这一多元统计方法进行评价。This paper makes a comprehensive evaluation on the economic development in Henan Province by applying the principal component analysis, ranking the eighteen cities＇ achievements in year 2002. The economic implication of principal component is explained after using the varimax rotation. Being a multivariate method, the principal component analysis is also discussed in the end.
