摘　　要：从实证的角度出发,在建立地区经济竞争力评价指标体系的基础上,运用计算城市综合经济竞争力指数的方法,对西安市和全国其他32个不同类别的重点城市的综合经济竞争力进行了比较评价。通过对行政体制、产业结构、外资利用等影响经济竞争力的主要因素的分析,提出了西安市加快经济发展,提高综合竞争力的对策和措施。This paper starting from an evident angle, based on the establishing a evaluation indicators system of competitiveness of regional economy, exercised the method of calculating and analyzing the exponent of regional economic competitiveness, estimated the regional economic competitiveness of Xi＇an and other 32 cities. According to the analysis on administration system, industry structure, utilization of foreign capital, the paper analyzed the main factors which influenced the comprehensive economical competitiveness of Xi＇an and put forward some countermeasures.
