摘　　要：通过实际调研、文献调查、图表分析法对著名旅游城市桂林进行诊断,分析“M ICEIndustry”区域城市空间竞争要素及合作的必然性;通过论述桂林市在旅游发展中所面临的机遇与挑战,提出桂林“M ICE Industry”接轨“泛珠三角经济区”基本框架以促进桂林“M ICEIndustry”可持续快速发展.As a new industry, MICE industry is developing rapidly in recent years contributing much to national economy. However the competition of MICE in some regions is just at the beginning. Therefore, how to make good use of regional resources to avoid substitution and reconstruction in same regions is on the top list now. Guilin city provides an example for the analysis of the competitive factors and the inevitability in the competition and corporation of city MICE Industry in a practical investigation, covering yearbook documents and chart method. Based on the opportunity and challenge for Guilin tourism industry analysis, the basic developing frame of Guilin＇s MICE Industry through merging Pan-pearl River delta is put forward.
