摘　　要：艾丽丝.沃克1982年发表的书信体小说《紫颜色》明确地表达了妇女寻求解放的思想。通过对女主人公茜莉的描写,揭露了男权社会对女性的压制,极力表现了女性的觉醒和对独立自由的追求。本文通过分析茜莉的觉醒过程,张显出黑人女性意识的崛起。Alice Walker published the novel Color Purple in the epistolary style in 1982, in which she expresses her strong idea of female＇ s seeking for their independence and liberty. The novel expounds the oppression to the female from the man - dominated society by describing the protagonist Celie, and expresses female＇s awakening and their puosuit to the independence and freedom. The paper intends to analyze the procedure of Celie＇s awakening, and manifests the emergence of the sense of the black female.
