摘  要:山西省地震工程勘察研究院承担的国家“十五”研究课题,对山西太原地震活动断层进行了探测研究,于2005年5月24日至6月5日在太原柴村乡西张村开挖出一长120 m,总宽8 m,总深9 m的特大探槽。初步探明该探槽展现出3条断层,断距最大为2.8 m,推测这3条断层反映了发生于全新世的3次7级以上地震。Active faults in Taiyuan, Shanxi, are probed, taken by the Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Exploration of Shanxi Province, as a research sub-project of the tenth “five years” of the nation. A very large exploratory channel, 120 m long, 8 m wide and 9 m deep, was worked out at Xizhang of Caicun Town ,Taiyuan, from May 24 to Jun. 5,2005. Preliminary result shows that there are 3 faults, in which the largest fault throw is 2. 8 m, on the channel. It infers that these 3 faults are related to 3 earthquakes larger than M 7.0, occurred in Holocene epoch.
