摘　　要：目的探讨中国风景名胜区的本质任务,寻找解决风景名胜区保护问题的有效途径。方法资料调研与分析类比、归纳演绎相结合的方法。结果辩析了风景名胜区的涵义是风景资源集中的地域、风景资源的稀缺性、脆弱性及多种复合价值,使风景名胜区具有“突出的、普通的价值”,从而具有人类遗产属性。结论应将风景名胜区保护纳入遗产保护体系中来,并遵照遗产保护的基本准则,才能从根本上有效保护风景资源。Aim To discuss the essential mission of landscape and famous scenery, and to find out the effectively ways of protecting scenery resource. Methods Comparrative analysis, demonstration analysis and information consultation. Results The meaning of landscape ＆ famous scenery is the resourceful region of scenery resource. Because of its shortage and multi-value, famous scenery has the “Outstanding Universal Value” and has the heritagecharacteristic. Conclusion Scenery resource can be protected thoroughly and effectively by studying the heritagecharacteristic of landscape and famous scenery, and bringing it into the World Heritage system, and conforming to the protective rules for the World Heritage system.
