摘 要:报道一种可用钆配合物[Gd(DBM)3bath]调节电致发光(EL)颜色的有机发光二极管(OLED)。该有机发光二极管是在空穴传输层(m-MTDATA)和电子传输层(TPB I)之间插入一薄层Gd(DBM)3bath。随着Gd(DBM)3bath厚度增加,二极管的发光颜色呈现出绿色(主峰525 nm)-黄色-橙色(主峰593 nm)变化。该二极管的电致发光主要来自界面激基复合物的发射而不是来自各有机功能层;而发光颜色的变化是由于两种激基复合物发射的相对强度的改变。A Gd-complex, tris- (dibenzoylmethanato) -mono- (bathophenanthroline) gadolinium [ Gd (DBM) 3 bath ] was used to tune emission colour in OLEDs. The Gd(DBM) 3bath layer was inserted between the hole-trans- porting layer (m-MTDATA) and electron-transporting layer (TPBI). The EL color can be tuned from green at 525 nm to orange at 593 nm by increasing the thickness of Gd-complex layer. When the Gd-complex layer was thin enough, this layer became discontinuous. The discontinuity was increased when the thickness of this layer was further decreased. As a result, the exciplex from m-MTDATA/TPBI was also formed besides the exciplex from m-MTDATA/Gd-complex. The shifts of spectra were due to the change of proportion for the two exciplexes. These results show that different emission color can be achieved by changing exciplex formation and its intensity in the same device configurati thickness of Gd-complex layer β-diketone may also play alike on. A simple technique for tuning the color of OLEDs by controlling the can be demonstrated. Besides, other complexes of trivalent rare earth with roles in such OLEDs.'
