摘　　要：目前在地理信息系统中,影像数据使用的增加,系统规模的扩张,再加上软件系统更新频率的加快,现有的管理方式已不能适应发展要求。而且大多数开发系统是基于相互独立和封闭的平台的开发,不同的数据格式和操作使系统间的数据交换和共享的实现十分困难,并阻碍了地理信息系统的发展。然而,中间件的提出和COM技术的采用正好解决了这一问题,它可以将系统划分成几层,然后把数据和操作集成起来,实现系统的无缝集成。在这基础上提出了C/S三层结构的GIS海量影像数据管理解决方案,并给出了应用实例。At present, the manner of management do not adjust to the development of GIS with the increase of image data, the expansion of system and fast frequency of system update. Further more GIS is mostly based on the independent and the close development platform , and different data format and operation not only make it difficult to exchange and share the data among systems, but also blocks the development of GIS. However, the application of MidWare and COM technology could settle that problem, which may divide the system into several layers, integrate the data and operation, and realize seamless integrating of system. This paper brings forward the solvent project that call＇s the three-tier scheme of GIS Huge Image Data Management System Based On C/S and present one instance.
