摘　　要：阐述了适合计算机软件和其它工业产品的数据和技术状态管理与控制技术———软件配置管理(SCM-Software Configuration M anagem ent)与产品数据管理(PDM-Product Data M anage-m ent)技术,各自产生的背景、处理的对象、关注的焦点、作用的范围、及其输出结果,提出了在产品研制过程中实施SCM和PDM的措施与实施原则———定义规范化的过程、选用适用的工具、进行周密的计划、重视技能培训。Based on the analysis of the difference between SCM （Software Configuration Management） and PDM （Product Data Management） including their backgrounds, objects, focuses and process outputs, this paper presents the implementation principles of product configuration inanagelnent in respect of the software and other industry products as following： process definition ,tool selection, planning and skill trainning.
