摘　　要：我国的出版工作是中国共产党领导的社会主义事业的一个组成部分,其性质决定了出版工作是为人民服务、为社会主义服务的。随着我国社会与经济的不断发展,在国内、国际形势错综复杂的局面下,在强大的经济利益的诱惑与驱使下,编辑增强政治意识显得特别重要。编辑也要讲政治,只有深刻地理解政治形势,树立坚定的政治意识和政策观念,才能做好出版工作,更好地推动出版工作的健康发展。Abstract ：Press work in our country is a component part of the socialist undertakings under the leadership of the CPC, which determines that the nature of our press work is ＂to serve the people and serve the socialism. ＂Nowadays, with the continuous development of society and economy in our country, and in the complicated situation both at home and abroad, it is especially important to strengthen editors＇ political consciousness in order that they may not be tempted and prompted solely by great economic benefits. Editors should be political-minded. Only when they understand the present political situation thoroughly and have sound political consciousness and keep the present policies in mind can they do the press work well and promote the press work to develop more healthily.
