摘 要:网格是一个位于不同网络的、异构的计算机集合。如何在具体应用时有效调度分布在异构网格上的网格资源是一个重要课题。针对这一课题,讨论了三种调度策略,并且分析了这三种调度策略是否适应资源高度分散的网格环境。展望了把AppLes方案整合进GrADS方案的前景。A critical contributor to the performance of resource - intensive distributed parallel applications on heterogeneous networks is the scheduling of constituent application tasks on the network. There have been a number of efforts in coming up with scheduling strategies for this very reason. This literature study looks at three application - level scheduling approaches : MARS, AppLeS and GRADS. It also analyzes their relevancy to the Grid, to see if they answer the important Grid infrastructure question ; how to schedule Grid applications over multiple decentralized resources. It tries to draw a picture of the prospect of integrating AppLes into GRADS projects software to solve the above question.
