摘　　要：着重说明图像压缩的目的及意义,并介绍一些代表性的图像数据的压缩方法。另外还介绍了静态图像的标准压缩格式JEPG和动态图像的标准压缩格式MPEG,并对图像和视频压缩的热点问题作了初步的探讨。This Paper describes the goal and sense of image compression in brief and introduces some typical techniques of digital image compression. At the same time, the JPEG technique for still image compression and the MPEG technique for video compression are described. At last, the paper discusses the intensive issue in the domain of image compression technologies in the future.
