摘　　要：本文对2003年盛夏(北)极涡的位置进行了分析,发现2003年夏季(北)极涡位置长期偏向西半球,导致影响我国的冷空气弱,是西北太平洋副热带高压异常强大和我国南方持续高温的重要原因。The polar vortex＇s position in the midsummer of 2003 is analysed in this paper, it is found that the polar vortex leaned to the Western Hemisphere for a long time leads to weakening of the cold air which influences our country. That is,the one of the important reasons why the west Pacific subtropical high was abnormally strong and the temperature was persistently high in the south of China.
