摘　　要：传统的生产力定义有其历史的合理性。随着社会的发展,这种定义的局限性日益显示出来。第一,误导了人类征服自然和改造自然的目的。第二,仅仅从人与自然的关系去理解生产力。第三,对人与自然关系的理解过于狭隘。While the traditional definition of productive forces has its historical rationality, the limitations of the definition become more and more evident with the social development： First, it is misleading in describing man＇ s goals of conquering and reconstructing the nature ; secondly, it understands productive forces simply from the perspective of man-nature relations, and thirdly, its understanding of the man-nature relations is too narrow-minded.
