摘　　要：大型指纹数据库的广泛应用,使得记录数量的增长和检索效率的矛盾日益尖锐,这就需要建立一种多级索引指纹数据库.文章提出使用指纹纹形、脊线数目和基于Gabor滤波的指纹特征———指纹码构建多级索引指纹数据库和在此基础上检索多级指纹数据库的方法.通过实验数据对两级和多级索引指纹数据库作比较,并作算法性能分析.It makes more and more aculeate contravention between added record number and efficiency of search since wide application of large fingerprint database. So we need build a multilevel fingerprint database. This paper proposes not only index of multilevel fingerprint database that is built by fingerprint pattern, ridge count and FingerCode based on Gabor filter but also a search method of it. It also compares two levels index with multilevel index by experimental data and makes an analysis of algorithm performance.
